Comment
The local tribe, the Swabians, have a love affair with pale,
thin, utterly unremarkeble red wines made from the Trollinger grape. The
Rieslings are more interesting. Serious red wines are emerging, often made from
Lemberger, or blends thereof, and with the use of new oak barrels, by members of
the HADES group, among others.
