About the German Wine Page

GrapesThis page was created in 1995 when I organised a tasing of German wines for some friends in university. It was in Scotland, where I was living at the time. I wrote an introducion to the German wine lables for the event as I could not find anything suitable on the net, especially not in English. There was no resonable information on German wine on the net at all, as far as I could tell. So I decided to create a little page of my own. The whole thing has grown a bit since then, but it is still just a private home page. I make no money with this page, have no commercial interests in wine, and just want to give people introductory information on German wine, and a bit of personal opionion too. Take it for what it is: I'm not trying to sell anything to anyone, I'm not an infallible master taster, I just love fine German wines and hope this page helps spreading the knowledge of these wines a little.
