The Flowering was somewhat uneven, streching several weeks. Above is a picture form June.
Clearly, a wet summer! Quite a contrast to 2003, but that is only positive for the health of the vines.
The summer continued relatively wet and cool, though not extremely so. By mid septemmber our grapes are still a bit behind.
Some grapes do begin to turn sweet, but we expect to havbe to wait until end of october for the harvest. On a glorious september day like this though, the Oechsle climb almost visably.
